Swanton Morley Allotments

 

The Parish Council manage and administer Swanton Morley Allotments which can be found adjacent to the village hall on Manns Lane.

There are 29 plots, some of which have been divided into half plots for those who want a smaller amount of land to cultivate.  Working parties  are sometimes organised to keep communal areas looking nice and there is usually an annual social event at which the Golden Trowel is presented to a deserving plot holder.

The Parish Council keeps a waiting list of anybody interested in taking on an allotment although at times you might find that plots are available and just waiting for a new tenant.  Please contact the Clerk for more information if you are interested in becoming a plot holder.

The current annual rent for a full plot is £68 which includes water.
